Kirsten Discepola, DPM

Dr. Kirsten Discepola is a highly trained foot and ankle surgeon with special interests in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine, pediatric foot care, wound care, and the surgical treatment of bunions and hammertoes.
A native of Wayne, New Jersey, Dr. Discepola earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from The George Washington University before attending Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree.
Following podiatric medical school, Dr. Discepola completed an intensive surgical foot and ankle residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. During her residency, she distinguished herself clinically and was selected to serve as Chief Resident.
Dr. Discepola's extensive training allows her to care for patients with a wide variety of foot and ankle concerns, ranging from common conditions and sports-related injuries to complex deformities requiring reconstructive surgery. Her clinical interests include pediatric foot care, sports medicine, wound care, bunion and hammertoe correction, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
As a local resident, she is personally invested in the health and well-being of her neighbors and is committed to building lasting relationships with the patients and families she serves in the Basking Ridge community. As a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS), Dr. Discepola is committed to providing thoughtful, individualized care. She works closely with each patient to understand their concerns, identify the cause of their foot or ankle problem, and develop a treatment plan focused on relieving pain, restoring function, and helping them return to the activities they enjoy.
